Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Hiring Jail Officers I (Quota CY 2024)

We are informing the public that the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Region VII is now accepting applicants for Jail Officer 1 for the recruitment with the following qualifications:

A citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;

A person of good moral character;

Must have passed the psychiatric/psychological, drug and physical tests for the purpose of determining his/her physical and mental health;

Must possess a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning;

Must possess appropriate eligibility (Second Level eligibilities: CSE-Professional, RA 1080, and Penology Officer Examination, etc);

Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed for cause from previous employment;

Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age. A waiver for age requirement shall be automatically granted to applicants belonging to the Cultural Communities;

Must not have been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;

Must be at least one meter and sixty-two centimeters (1.62 m.) in height for male, and one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57 m.) for female; and

Must weigh not more or less than five kilograms (5 kgs.) from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex.

Eligibility: CS Prof (2nd Level) Eligibility/ PRC License, SC, MARINA/ Penology Officer Exam/ CSC PO1 Examination from July 5, 1998 onwards/ PD 907

Once you are done with the registration, SCHEDULES WILL BE POSTED AS TO WHEN TO REPORT AND SUBMIT THE APPLICATION FOLDER to BJMP Regional Office VII. Upon reporting, bring your application folder and the original copies of your documents.
