QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Rank: Fire Office I (FOI)

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Eligibility: Second Level Eligibility (CS Prof/RA 1080/FOE)

Age: 21-30 years old

Height: 1.62 m or 5’4 for Male; 1.57 m or 5’2 for Female

Weight: Not more or less than five (5) kg from the weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT

>A citizen of the Republic of the Republic of the Philippines;

>A person with good moral character;

>Must pass the Neuro-Psychiatric Evaluation and Medical Examination for the purpose of determining his/her Physical and Mental Health;

>Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed for cause from previous employment; and

>Must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude and has no derogatory records.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATE OF WAIVER

A.Required documents:

Certification from NCIP/NCMF (for member of ICC’s)
PDL with restriction code 1,2,3
PD 907 (for honor graduates)
Service Record (for previous gov’t employee) and certification from NCIP or NCMP and/ or PDL 123 – for applicants 36 years and above
Certificate of deficiency from the BFP Regional Office
Photocopy of two (2) valid ID’s with picture
3 pcs 2×2 recent picture with name tag
Original Copy of Birth Certificate from PSA

Note: Certificate of Waiver may be granted to applicants not older than 35 years old. For applicants under A, ii-iv, the height must not be lower than 5’2 for males and 5’0 for females.
