The Philippine Army (PA) Reruitment
The Philippine Army (PA) or Hukbong Katihan ng Pilipinas is the principal and oldest branch of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) located at Fort Andres Bonifacio, Taguig City Metro Manila. With 11 divisions and special units scattered in the islands of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao; the PA is responsible for defending the country through land combat and operations.
WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS:
OFFICERS CANDIDATE COURSE (OCC)
1) At least 20 years old but not a day older than 25 years old on the date of admission;
2) Baccalaureate degree holder;
3) Single and never been married; never borne or sired a child;
4) Natural Born Filipino citizen;
5) Height of not less than 5,0 ft (152.4 cm) both male and female but not more than 6’4 (193.04 cm);
6) Physically and mentally fit.

2) Natural Born Filipino citizen;
3) With 72 units in college or if a high school graduate must possess technical skills/talent needed by the Philippine Army
4) At least 5’0” or 60 inches in height. Similarly, height waiver is no longer issued ;
5) Single and without child
6) Of good moral character; and
7) Physically and Mentally fit for military training
As of this year 2024, The Philippine Army is in need of graduates of the following courses for Candidate Soldier Course:
- Accounting Technology
- Mechanics Technology
- Electronics Technology
- Mechanical Technology
- Chemical Technology
- Ventilation and Air-Conditioning Technology
- Civil Engineering Technology
- Psychology
- Architecture
- Land Surveying
- Journalism
- Radio Broadcasting
Qualifications:- Must be an AFPSAT passer
- Natural born Filipino citizen

- at least 21 years old but not a day older than 26 years old upon entry

- at least 72 units in College or (K-12) Senior HS graduate, must possess technical/special skills
- at least one year work experience
- Natural born Filipino citizen
- single with no parental obligation
- at least 5 ft tall ( both male and female)
- physically and mentally fit
- at least 18 years old but not a day older than 26 years old or up until 36 years old if with NC III or IV, upon entry
- no pending case in any court
Requirements:- Diploma (Senior High School)
- Form 137-A
- PSA Birth Certificate
- Any government-issued ID
