About

Philippine Navy (PN) is the naval warfare service branch of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. It has an estimated strength of 24,500 active service personnel, including the 8,300-strong Philippine Marine Corps. It operates 82 combat vessels, 14 auxiliary vessels, 25 manned aircraft and 8 unmanned aerial vehicles. It shares the responsibility of patrolling the maritime borders with the Philippine Coast Guard, a formerly attached unit which became a separate maritime law enforcement agency in 1998.

How to Join in Philippine Navy

FOR Naval Officer Candidate Course (NOCC):

• Natural-born Filipino citizen and of good moral character;

• Baccalaureate Degree holder (preferably Technical Courses);

• At least 20 years old but not a day older than 27 years old on the date of admission

• Height of not less than 5’0” (152.4 cm) but not more than 6’4” (193.04 cm) for both male and female;

• Unmarried and with no child to support;

• Must not have any pending civil or criminal case; and

• Physically and mentally fit for training.

Application requirements:

c. Birth Certificate (PSA copy)

FOR Sailor Basic Course (SBC):

• Natural-born Filipino citizen and of good moral character;

• Age 18 to 26 but not a day older than 26 on the day of enlistment (Graduation of SBC)

• Unmarried and with no child to support;

• Completed the K-12/ at least 72 units in college (preferably technical courses) / TESDA NCII for old curriculum high school graduate;

• Height of at least 5’0” (152.4 cm) for both male and female;

• Must not have any pending civil or criminal case; and

• Physically and mentally fit for training.

Pay, Allowances and Benefits

For SAILORS and MARINES

Earn as much as Php 25, 637.00 while on training as Candidate Soldier(CS) equivalent to Salary Grade 13.
Earn as much as Php 37, 338.00 upon graduation with the rank of Apprentice Seaman(ASN)/Private(PVT) equivalent to Salary Grade 17.
Longevity pay of 10% of the current monthly base pay compounded every five years of active military service.

The Philippine Navy will carry out the 1st Leg of Mobile Recruitment for CY 2023. The activity will be conducted aboard Naval Operating Forces to cater to applicants for the Naval Officer Candidate Course (NOCC) and Sailor Basic Course (SBC).
