JOB DESCRIPTION
Under direct supervision of the Division Chief of the Public Affairs and Advocacy Division-SMS and with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgment; performs somewhat difficult and responsible professional work concerning public affairs, advocacy, and media relations; formulation, development and implementation of publicity plans; and other related tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
PRIMARY TASKS
1. Writes press photo releases, feature stories, messages, correspondence, fact sheets, briefers, and other media materials useful for public relations and advocacy;
2. Renders coverages on DSWD programs and activities and write stories on these;
3. Assists in the management of DSWD-led special events and other events where DSWD is a participating agency; 5
4. Assists in arranging press conferences and media guestings;
5. Assists in undertaking publicity, media relations, promotions of DSWD programs and projects and DSWD participation in special events;
6. Performs other related tasks as maybe assigned by the supervisor and/or Director of SMS.S

- IPCR or any related Performance Assessment/Review 5%
Initial Shortlisting: | Obtain 75% of the maximum total score of ETE and only those who obtained a high average percentile on Initial Qualifying Test |
Second Shortlisting: | Top five highest rating but overall rating should not be less than 80% |
